Hosta Doubled Up will develop into a large mound approximately 50cm in height, with a spread of up to 60cm at maturity. The foliage is green and very glossy on both the upper and lower surfaces. Its leaves are lightly cupped and nearly round with a rounded base. This plant forms a compact clump and blooms in late summer, producing large, highly fragrant pure white flowers. As a sport of Hosta plantaginea, it features flowers that are larger than those of the species, opening wide with shorter, thicker scapes reaching a height of 75cm. The clump is more compact, and the leaves have substantial thickness.
