Hosta Devon Green will form a mound of 18"-20" in height with a spread of up to 30" at maturity. It is a good solid Hosta producing a medium sized mound of thick substance, shiny dark green leaves. Glossy heart-shaped leaves are slightly cupped and have prominent veining. With a good pest resistance and plain solid colour it is very useful for breaking up a display of variegated colour. Produces pale lavender flowers on 32" scapes, from late July into mid August. One of the Best! Sun tolerant & slug resistant, it is a great Hosta for ease of growing and contrast to the many coloured or variegated varieties. Another must-have for any collector.  It is a sport of Hosta Halcyon. There is nothing else quite like Hosta Devon Green. Awarded the RHS Award Of Garden Merit.
