Hosta Climax forms a substantial mound, reaching approximately 50cm-60cm in height and spreading up to 125cm at maturity. Unlike its parent, Hosta High Noon, this variety does not feature yellow leaves; instead, it boasts soft green foliage with creamy edges. The leaves exhibit distinct venation and moderate wrinkling, giving the plant a slightly upright appearance. During July and August, the clump is adorned with lavender flowers on scapes that can reach heights of up to 75cm. The contrast between leaf colour and edge increases with more shade. Additionally, Hosta Climax demonstrates resistance to slugs and tolerance to sunlight.
