Hosta Cherry Berry will form a small mound of 10"-12" in height with a spread of up to 28" at maturity. It has long thin leaves with a dark green margin merging with a golden yellow centre that eventually seasons to white in summer. There is a lighter green streak where the margin and centre colours overlap. Leaves are held out on slightly rosy petioles. Purplish-blue, flared flowers appear on 30" clear red scapes in mid to late summer; an eye-catching, colourful combination. Named for its seed pods which turn bright red and last through the autumn. Needs some direct sunlight to bring out the reddish pigment. A stunning looking plant. Not slug resistant.
