Hosta Captain's Adventure forms a medium-sized mound, reaching a height of 45cm to 60cm and spreading up to 70cm at maturity. This variegated sport of Hosta Captain Kirk is particularly noteworthy. The green stroke between the margin and leaf centre appears as if it has been meticulously painted. This Hosta features a complex leaf pattern combined with a robust growth rate. The corrugated leaves measure 17cm by 15cm. It is distinguished by its unique three-colour leaf, an interesting sport that goes through changes; the greenish-yellow leaves eventually have their borders turn white. The leaf centre and border are separated by a green line. Pale lavender flowers on 65cm scapes emerge in July.
