Hosta Calypso will form a minature mound of 6"- 8" in height with a spread of up to 18" at maturity. A contrasting white leaf centre with deep green margins, infused with chartreuse. The leaf is narrow with a pointed end. Its attractive narrow leaves remain white in color with distinctive dark green edges and tinges of chartreuse throughout the season. Hosta Calypso is one of the best small white centred hostas on the market today. Spikes of violet flowers appear on 12" scapes, during June & July. It is not particularly slug resistant nor sun tolerant, but a great Hosta to have in your collection. This variety is fertile and could be used in a breeding programme.
