Hosta Brother Stefan will form a medium to large open mound of 20"-24" in height with a spread of up to 40" at maturity. It has thick, heavily seersuckered, medium green leaves with brilliant golden-yellow centres resembling hand prints or maple leaves. In spring, the margin may have a waxy coating making it appear more blue, and the centre may be more chartreuse. The leaves are held almost horizontally. Near-white flowers appear on 26" scapes in June & July. A Hosta of moderate growth rate, especially when young. Best in bright shade or morning sun. Also slug resistant.
