Hosta Blue Danube will form a small sized mound of just 6"-8" in height, and a spread of up to 12" at maturity. Rounded blue green leaves hold their blueness well into late summer. Soft blue leathery leaf, has good symmetry. During July & into August, it will throw up scapes of up to 24" tall bearing lavender flowers. The leaves have thick substance making them slug resistant. The blue foliage should be given a good ammount of shade. Keep out of midday sun.
