Hosta Banana Kid will form a medium mound of 16"-18" in height with a spread of up to 26" at maturity. A beautiful variety, Hosta Banana kid has lance-shaped leaves in a striking golden yellow. Heavily textured!  Strong waxy leaves provide contrast well with other plants. The trumpet shaped, violet flowers appear in late summer, held on 28" scapes and look fabulous against the yellow foliage. Fast growing and carefree. Not slug resistant, but is sun tolerant. A great stand-out Hosta in any border.
