Hosta Autumn Frost develops into a small to medium mound at maturity, reaching 30cm to 45cm in height with a spread of up to 60cm. In spring, it produces powder blue, heart-shaped leaves with broad bright yellow margins that gradually fade to white as the season progresses. This exceptional Hosta is a superb specimen and a notable sport from the highly regarded Hosta First Frost. It tolerates a certain amount of sunlight and is resistant to slugs. The pale purple flowers stand slightly above the well-formed mound on 50cm scapes in July. It has received the RHS Award of Garden Merit and remains a very popular variety.
