Hosta Anna Lindh will form a medium sized mound of 12"-15" in height, with a spread of up to 24", at maturity. The foliage emerges blue-green in the spring, looking quite ordinary in shape and colour. As the season progresses, the leaves begin to lighten from the centre out, going through shades of chartreuse, yellow, and sometimes nearly to white. The margins of the leaves remain green, but not in the way a typically variegated Hosta would. The green often runs along the veins at the tip of the leaf, and reaches up the centre vein at the base of the leaf. Lavender flowers with pale white stripes bloom from mid-August into October, held on scapes of up to 40".
