Hosta Ann Kulpa forms a medium-sized mound, reaching a height of 45 cm to 55 cm, with a spread of up to 70 cm at maturity. This plant exhibits heart-shaped, corrugated leaves featuring wide, dark green margins and paler green jetting into a narrow yellow centre that eventually transitions to ivory white. Notably, the white centre is more pronounced in young plants and becomes narrower as they mature. The heart-shaped leaves develop moderate corrugation and good substance over time. Bell-shaped, pale lavender flowers bloom on leafy scapes that reach 70 cm tall, from July to August. The leaf petioles are ivory white with green stripes.
