Hosta American Halo forms an impressive mound, reaching a height of 60cm-75cm with a spread of up to 150cm at maturity. It features corrugated blue-green foliage with large leaves edged by a wavy, wide creamy-white margin, and is topped with white flowers in July and August on 75cm long scapes. This Hosta requires one to two hours of morning or late afternoon sunlight. Although it matures slowly, its eventual size is substantial. It is rarely affected by slugs and can tolerate sunlight, provided it avoids the hottest parts of the day. This plant is well worth the wait.
